Printed by a specialist, handled by us
We’ll be upfront: flyers and business cards aren’t printed on our own machine. Our Roland is a large-format printer, built for banners, signs and stickers. Paper work like flyers and cards is done best and cheapest on presses built for long runs, so a specialist trade printer runs them for us.
What you get from us is everything around the print: the design, a proper file check, a proof you approve, and one local number to ring if anything needs sorting. You don’t have to wrestle with an online upload system or find out afterwards that your logo was cut off at the trim.
Flyers
A5 is the most useful flyer size there is. It’s big enough for a proper offer, a few photos and a map, and small enough to go through a letterbox, sit on a counter or go in a bag. Ours are printed on both sides, so the front can do the selling and the back can carry the details: prices, opening hours, contact information.
They suit takeaways and menus, trades doing letterbox drops, events, gyms and clubs, and any business handing something over the counter.
Business cards
Standard 85 × 55mm cards, printed on both sides, which fit every wallet and card holder. Use the front for your name and logo and the back for your details, or put a short list of services or a QR code on the back.
At 2,500 you won’t be reordering in a hurry, so it’s worth getting the proof right. We’ll check the spellings and numbers with you before anything goes to print.
Matching the rest of your print
If we’re also doing your banner, sign or stickers, we’ll use the same design on your flyers and cards, so everything matches. It’s one set of artwork, one proof process and one person to deal with.

Why is the minimum 2,500?
Flyers and business cards are printed on machines built for long runs, so 2,500 costs very little more than a few hundred. Below that, the price per card stops making sense, so 2,500 is where we start.
What sizes do you do?
Flyers are A5 (148 × 210mm), printed on both sides. Business cards are the standard 85 × 55mm, printed on both sides.
Can you design them for me?
Yes. Send your logo, the wording and any photos, and we’ll lay it out and send you a proof. Design is free on orders over £100. Under that it’s £25 an hour, and we’ll tell you the likely time before we start.
How long do they take?
We’ll confirm the turnaround when you order. It depends on the print partner’s schedule and the delivery back to us, so we won’t promise a date we can’t control.
Can you post them to me?
Yes. Collect them from our factory in Washington, or we’ll post them anywhere in the UK. Ask when you order.
