Who we are

Printing Potential Ltd (company no. 16759472) runs this website. You can contact us at info@printingpotential.co.uk or on 07440 121 487.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote we collect your name, email address, phone number, the details of the job and any artwork you upload. We also record basic, cookie-free visit statistics so we can see which pages are used. These statistics don't identify you.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and carry out and invoice the job if you go ahead. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then performing that contract.

The design tool

If you use our design tool, we send what you type, and any logo or photo you upload, to Google's Gemini image service to create the designs. Before the shop preview we ask for your name and email, so we can follow up about your design; we won't add you to a mailing list. The designs and your uploads are stored with Supabase in London. If you don't send them to us for a quote, they're deleted after 30 days. We count how many designs each visitor makes using a scrambled version of your internet address, never the address itself, and those counts are deleted after 30 days too. Every design made by the tool carries Google's invisible SynthID watermark, which marks it as AI-made.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into an order are deleted after 12 months. Order records are kept for six years for tax and accounting purposes. Artwork is kept for as long as you might reasonably want a reprint, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your details. Where a job is produced by a trusted print partner (for example flyers and business cards), we share only what they need to produce and deliver it. Our website runs on a server we manage. Quote requests and uploaded artwork are stored with Supabase, a database provider, on servers in London. Supabase stores them for us and doesn't use them for anything else.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@printingpotential.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
